How this is built: scheme classification comes from AMFI's official NAVAll.txt (Equity Scheme category, plus the Hybrid Scheme — Multi Asset Allocation subcategory specifically, since those funds are commonly compared alongside pure-equity ones. Growth plans only — IDCW/Dividend variants are excluded since payouts distort NAV-based return comparisons). Historical NAV comes from api.mfapi.in. Returns beyond 1 year are annualized (CAGR). Sorting by a return period is not a ranking of investment merit — a fund at the top of the 1Y column may not lead the 3Y, 5Y, 7Y or 10Y column, and past NAV performance does not predict future results.

About this data

This page mechanically computes trailing NAV returns for Indian equity mutual fund schemes and lists them sorted by the period you select. It is a data reference, not a recommendation, rating, or endorsement of any scheme — inclusion here means only that a scheme is classified as an Equity Scheme (Growth plan) by AMFI and has enough NAV history to compute the selected return period.

Is this a "best funds" list?

No. The table is sorted by one objective metric — trailing NAV return over the period you pick — nothing more. A different sort period can produce a very different order. Sorting by historical return is not an assessment of a fund's expense ratio, risk, fund manager quality, or suitability for you.

Why are Dividend/IDCW plans excluded?

Those plans pay out part of the NAV as a distribution, which lowers the NAV itself and understates the plan's total return relative to a Growth plan of the same underlying scheme. Excluding them keeps the return comparison apples-to-apples.

How often does this update?

Weekly. NAV history and computed returns refresh every Sunday from AMFI's scheme classification and api.mfapi.in's NAV history.
